Haiya Haiya…oh no!
KaBrazen faced a technical issue delaying the weekly release of our audio stories. But, if there is one thing Tata Nduta and Aunty Shishi teach us, it is to keep on going!
We have three more wonderful stories to share with you from our second collection. KaBrazen will resume our *bi-weekly sharing on August 31st with the fantastical story of the girl who loved stories even more than we do: Thérèse Bella Mbida in English (the Kiswahili one is already out for you to enjoy!).
Till then, you can listen to favourites from the archive anytime you want. We are re-listening to our very first KaBrazen story, where Mekatilili wa Menza reminds us to keep on walking!
Haiya Haiya, Haiyooo!
HIGHLIGHT: KABRAZEN ON CNN
2023
The KaBrazen podcast was featured on CNN on the powerful impact of storytelling in Nairobi connecting the past to the present.
We had an amazing experience with the niblings where Aunty Shishi and Tata Nduta told us amazing stories in real time. Yes, A LIVE PERFORMANCE! The kids even got to meet the indomitable Zarina Patel, who inspired us to tell the story of the girl with a big heart. Listen here in English and in Kiswahili. She spoke to all the little ones in our audience, telling them to “never give up”.
Listen here to Zarina Patel’s speech that she gave during the live experience.
