What is KaBrazen?

Kabrazen is a universe filled with stories re-imagining the lives of Brazen African women as folkloric, whimsical stories for children aged 4-10 years old. Narrated by a beloved Auntie, the stories embody the strength, softness and the resilience of women and make them feel heard and beloved into. Beyond the award-winning audio, KaBrazen lives in many forms, From live storytelling to colouring books, the KaBrazen universe uses life-writing to remind children of the power that they hold.

…and the critics love it!

“Above all, what makes this show shine is the craft at play in its writing and performance. Kids will be hooked in by Auntie Shishi's animated voice and the thoughtful use of music and repetition will keep even the littlest ones at the edge of their seats and wondering what's going to happen next!”
